How to create a short URL?
Copy the long URL.
Insert a long URL into the link shortening form.
Click on the "Shorten URL" button.
The message "YOUR SHORTENED LINK: https://l8.nu/..." will appear.
Click on the "Copy" button.
The short URL will be copied to the clipboard.
Paste the short URL from the clipboard where you need it. For example, in the description of a Youtube video, in a Twitter post, in a Facebook post, etc.
How to make a custom short URL?
After you've pasted the long URL into the link shortening form, click the "Set Up Short Link" button.
A Custom Short URL field will appear. Enter or paste in the tail of the short URL, which should be at the end of "https://l8.nu/..." instead of an ellipsis.
Click the Shorten URL button.
If this short URL is already taken, "Oh no, Short URL ... already exists in database or is reserved!" will appear. In this case, click the "Edit URL" button and enter a different tail for the short link. Click "Shorten URL" again.
